Perhaps Sobhan could let him know somehow? Or maybe Simoon, since he knew both Thomas and Woodget in their youth? I would like to see Woodget reunited with Bess somehow, although I think that is highly unlikely. It would be really sad if Thomas was never informed as to that fact.

In the end of the last Deptford Histories book, it was made clear that Woodget was alive, living in the City of Hara as the Sadhu. There is one thing that I really think should be settled in the series, and that is the guilt that Thomas is feeling for supposedly drowning Woodget. I think I almost cried when I read the part where his father finds his mousebrass in the owl pellet. Jenkin Nettle's death was really upsetting. The way it was put, it did appear as if he was just sucked into the void.Īs I've said before, Robin Jarvis really doesn't appear to like sparing characters, and, although I do like his books, that is just one thing that really annoys me. I've always wondered about Oswald, and what really did happen to him. I liked Oswald almoast as much as Piccadilly and he dosen't deserve to be in eternal blackness! Agh! Did Oswald die when he was sucked into the void? Or is he trapped in there forever, never being able to escape? If the latter is true. I have one question about the series that I hope someone can possibly answer. :p At least I can say that it added a huge emotional impact for me. HE KILLED OFF PICCADILLY! AHHHHHHH! but thats more of me whining than an actual problem. leading me to believe that either he's gonna write some more books in the series, or those events are played out in the Deptford Histories series (which I have yet to read). Like, the character bios have some stuff at the end that wasn't in any of the three books I read. I do have a few problems with this series, one of them being is that it left a few unanswered questions, and in looking at Robin Jarvis' site there seems to be some stuff I missed. Do all my favorite characters just have to get killed? I have to agree with Cornflower, Piccadilly's last scene with Audrey was really sad, and it almoast made me cry. Piccadilly was my favorite character, and of course, he gets killed. I thought Robin did a great job creating the characters, I didn't really feel that he left any of the main characters without too little personality, and in doing that he made attached to most of the characters. It has become my favorite book series, even beating out Watership Down (which I thought would never happen).

First off, sorry for bringing such an old topic back, but I do think it is best to bring back an old one than to make a new one that is pretty much identical.
